A basic introduction

 Welcome to this research page regarding the first century events in the south of France, that certainly came to affect world history for at least the previous 2000 years.

This is as labeled general remarks, a basic introduction to the events at large. For those not familiar with the backstory here, just a brief presentation;

According to a number of scholars what took place around the mid first century a.d was nothing short of astounding. The female disciple, Mary from Magdala, was according to a wide range of sources not only a disciple, but moreover the marital companion of Jesus, the prince of a royal house. The well known passage in the holy book discussing a marriage where Jesus turned water into wine, is by some actually believed to be the Union of Jesus Christ and his beloved, Mary from Magdala. The church has staunchly suppressed this version, the true version. It did not fit the narrative with a married, all too human, savior for the newly founded religion. Thusly his beloved was transformed into a prostitute, and their union denied. Furthermore, the bloodline has survived to the present day. The Magdalene arrived at south France after fleeing following the crucifiction of her husband. Their offspring brought the lineage forth to the future.

This is not at all remarkable. There were travelers crossing the Mediterranean at the time. Joseph of Arimathea, for instance, brought Christian belief as far as to the UK. Traveling was of course much more risky at that time, and those risking their lives must be regarded as on a very important mission. The other disciples brought the teachings of their master around the world. Remarkable feats, admirable though they be, this blog will be restricted to the remaining traces and the possibility that these events actually occurred. Myself, wondrous though it may appear, I am certain that we will be able to put forth a case based on substantial foundation. This might be a long process, drawn out over years. This is ok with me. I am actually approaching respectable age, and see this as my final and perhaps most important contribution to the area of research. There may even be a book published on the issue. Also, as regards sources supporting the thesis, this is not a doctoral thesis, or even a m.a essay, and if somebody need sources specified they may look for those themselves. My time is too valuable to do unpaid work for people who can’t be bothered to do their own research. If and when this is compiled to some sort of scripture, there will of course be notes and citations, but that is then and this is simply a blog I use as a sketch book for the research. I believe, moreover, whatever May transpire will be based on general knowledge, and easily accessible sources, so the problem might not even present itself.

That said, I do hope any and all readers will find my ramblings worthy of attention. Until next time (in about a week), take care and let your minds wander unrestricted.
